All is quiet on the homefront

I'm beginning to think that Scandinavians just sleep away December-March. It is sooooo quiet right now. Although, the darkness in the early evening hours, does make it difficult to do things outdoors (even with the street lights on). I wonder if kids here have the same rule of having to be home when the street lights come on, like many of my friends that lived in cities.

The Newcomers Club (and get togethers with friends) is keeping us busy. Last week the Newcomers Club played Bingo (Pot, as it is called in Denmark). Our table of Peter, Chuck, Maja, and me won all 5 games. Peter won the first two, I won the second two, and Maja won the last game. How funny and what a coincidence! My big prize was two tickets to a mime show in March. We had planned on going to the show anyway, so this was just a little bonus. Woohoo!

  1. I had to come home when the street lights came on. Thanks for the childhood memories you sparked!
