I forgot the camera. What a shame, it would have been a great place for pictures.
A few weeks ago we went to this great little microbrewery in Flensburg, Germany called Hansen Brauerei to celebrate with our good friend Anne. Congrats on so many levels and for so many things. 2009 is truly your year!
I usually don't go to bars because of my heightened sensitivity to secondhand smoke, but imagine my surprise when I found out that Hansen Brauerei was smokefree. Too cool.
You can buy a meter of beer which arrives on a long boat oar with a hollowed out trough that holds about 12 or so glasses of beer. Although, it did look a bit silly to see this meter of beers down the middle of the table with only two guys drinking! It was probably a good thing I didn't have a camera to document it.
