The ever changing weather in Denmark

About a month ago, a blanket of snow covered our little town. To my midwest friends, I use the term "blanket" as in a light dusting that melted within a few hours. Here are some shots of the "blanket" at its thickest point. Again, I know....the snow in Denmark is nothing like snow in the midwest...and particularly the snowfalls of 2008 and 2009.

A few days later, it's as if spring has arrived. I saw a UFO....the sun....it's been so long since the sun has graced me with its presense. It's so much fun to pull out the sunglasses when heading out for a walk. So, a week after the snowstorm, the sun is out and the flowers are in bloom.
