A little late....but Happy 13th wedding anniversary to us!

On April 13, Chuck and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. As Dina, our guide in Beijing told us, 4 and 13 are very unlucky numbers....so being married on the 13th day of the 4th month and it has been 13 years, I guess we are doomed! Ha! I think very fondly of the number 13 (and Kelli, you do too, right?)

We didn't celebrate our anniversary on the 13th, but rather spent some time together traveling for the past several weeks. What fun!

What have we done in the past 13 years...

• Lived in 3 states (all in the midwest)
• Moved to Denmark
• Both finished our bachelors and masters degrees
• Enjoyed road trips to Florida, Colorado and New York
• Hopped on a plane for many last minute, spur of the moment trips (thus, testing my ability to plan less, and be more spontaneous)
• Travelled, travelled, and travelled some more (20 countries and counting)
• Became Auntie Holly and Uncle Chuck
• Became Godparents (one or both) to Alex, Stephi, and Lincoln
• Made some amazing friends, reconnected with old friends, stayed in touch with life-long friends and....cut the cord with some moochy friends
• Bought a house, sold a house; bought a house, sold a house
• Received honors, awards, and patents
• Became bloggers and facebookers
• Continue to live life the best way we know how!
