Getting caught up on Movies!

Ok, so I'm not very adventurous sometimes. I know there is a little movie theater in our town, but I'm not sure if they show movies in English or Danish or if they are even new releases. Blockbuster costs a fortune, so I've been movie-deprived...unless, of course, it's on TV, which means a no-go on new releases.

Starting with the flight to Beijing in April, I have been slowly but surely getting caught up on movies. During the Beijing flight and US flight, I managed to knock off several. My not-so sophisticated review....

  • Revolutionary Road - loved it!
  • Curious Case of Benjamin Button - not so much
  • The Reader - pretty good
  • Marley and Me - cute, but a no brainer
  • My Sister's Keeper - great movie, but the book is better
  • Slumdog Millionaire - not sure how it won so many awards
  • Mall Cop - cute, but a no brainer
  • The Changeling - pretty good
  • Gran Torino - loved it!
  • He's just not that into you - not so much
  • The Independent - not so much
  • Last Chance Harvey - ok
  • Four Christmasses - not so much
  • Milk - loved it!
  • Confessions of a Shopaholic - cute, but a no brainer
  • Role Model - ok

  1. All movies in Denmark are shown in the original language with Danish subtitles.
    No voiceover except for a few movies / cartoons fo kids.

    Hangover - hmm, interesting, a little too risque for me.

    Inglorius Basterds - ummm, not so much; too violent

    Do I sound like a prude??
