Are you ready for some (American) Football???

As I was flipping through the channels last week, I noticed that we now get American football on TV. Wow! I'm serious. Wow!

It seems as though the game is live and not taped; however there is one downfall.....

The sports announcers speak Danish. Shoot!

Oh well. We can still watch the game...whichever team happens to be on TV...and just push the mute button. I offered to be the sports announcer for the games. Maybe I learned a thing or two from my sports fanatic father!

  1. I love that they show the games - I HATE the danish announcers! The commercial breaks are also weird - without notice you'll suddenly be seeing 1 minute of some other game and then poof, back to the game you were watching because the danish TV doesn't put the commercials into the US commercial slots. Trust me, it's just weird.

  2. Hi Patti! We laugh about the Danish commercial breaks too. It seems as though they just 'insert' a commercial whenever they think it's 'time to insert commercial here.' We're just accustomed to the easy transition into a commercial in the US. Here, they are abrupt and usually 3 times louder than the TV show/movie/game, etc. Smoooooooooooth. Heehee.

  3. It cracks me up when they are speaking Danish and you hear "blah, blah, blah, blah, illegal defense, blah blah"... they insert those technical football terms that dont translate! TOO FUNNY!
